What we do.

Earth Rights is a volunteer organization primarily made up of college students who want to take 10-13 days to travel to South East Asia in order to clean up the waste and trash that washes up on the beaches there. This trash is largely the result of dumping in the pacific ocean by all the countries that surround it.

The trip itinerary will consist of a mix of daily beach and waterway clean ups as well as fun island activities and guided tours as a way of expressing our gratitude for your help as well as immersing you into the local culture to get a better feel for the impact your work will have on the local area!

All Travel to the Earth Rights location will be provided and set up by us, we can make flexible travel plans for those adventurers who may already be in South East Asia or those looking to spend some time in the area afterwards.

Why we do it.

“If not me, then who?” This is a mantra that echoes the ideals of Earth Rights mission to change tomorrow by making a difference today. We acknowledge that we may not be able to solve the crisis of waste and trash effecting the environment, but we believe that by effecting the mindset of young motivated individuals we can solve this crisis in the future. By attracting promising future leaders we believe they will keep the idea of sustainability incorporated into each and every one of there future endeavors.

The current crisis were facing is one that is sometimes challenged on a political and ideological level. Earth Rights is not here to push any sort of agenda, we seek to simply teach through experience and we hope that everyone who volunteers does so with an open mind!
